Luer Activated Valves allow for bi-directional flow while actuated with an ISO-compliant Luer. This unique actuator design allows for infusion and aspiration with an optimized flow pattern to enable complete flushing. The Luer Activated valve also features a closed silicone diaphragm that checks flow until mechanically opened with an ISO Luer device.
Compliant to ISO 8536-12 counter-flow requirements for maximum protection against retrograde flow reduces the risk of medication not getting to the patient
