nPulse™ Valve Platform

Neutral Under Pressure

The nPulse Valve Platform is designed to complement best clinical practices to reduce the risk of catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI), and reflux-induced catheter occlusions.1-5 Whatever your facility protocol, the nPulse platform has the lowest measured displacement and blood reflux of market leading valves.3 It features neutral fluid displacement at both Luer connection or disconnection to help reduce reflux-related occlusions. The valve’s clear housing allows caregivers to visualize the entire fluid path during priming and flushing. Equally important is maintaining the integrity of the septum, which helps ensure the absence of spaces that make disinfection difficult and create a pathway for pathogens into a patient’s bloodstream.1 The nPulse is available in multiple configurations to meet various clinical needs.

TESTING PROVES EFFECTIVENESS

NP Medical conducted an extreme-use clinical simulation to determine whether our nPulse Neutral needle-free connector would break down or allow pathogens to pass through the septum. Its performance met our high microbial ingress standards and after the study protocol was run, all the nPulse test samples yielded zero microorganism growth.5
